General Managers	Programming
The General Managers are the overseers of all staff at WHBC. They work closely with each department to reach common goals for the betterment of the station, and are the face of WHBC to other organizations and administrators throughout Howard University’s campus and beyond.	The Programming Department oversees all on-air personalities, makes sure that all 25 shows run smoothly and is responsible for everything else that is heard over the airways including artists interviews. In addition, Programming works hand in hand with each department to ensure that WHBC is the #1 College Station in the nation.

Sales

Promotions

The Sales Department is responsible for generating revenue for the Radio Station via Radio Commercials, On-Air Liners, Television Commercials, Event Sponsorship Packages, and Website Advertisements. The Sales Department has a strong clientele base consisting of Howard University Campus Organizations, Local Washington, DC businesses, and National Corporations. The Sales Department also works very closely with the Promotions Department in organizing campus and local events as well as the Production Department in composing commercials and perfecting the WHBC 830 AM brand.

The WHBC Promotions Department is responsible for being the face of the station for all campus and off campus events. They provide Disc Jockeys, Event Hosts, and promotional give-aways for various events such as; homecoming, freshman move-in, and Res-Fest. They also organize and promote their own events in the summer for on campus students, and during the school year with promotional events such as “Café Night”, which takes place every other Thursday in the Blackburn Center cafeteria. They support the athletic department by being involved with crowd interaction during Home Games.

Music	News
WHBC's music department is responsible for maintaining the radio station's music library as well as garnering the newest and most exclusive songs. The music department also works with on-campus and local artists to ensure that students are exposed to excellent underground music.	WHBC is dedicated to providing news and information to the Howard University community. WHBC utilizes news briefs and a news program to broadcast information to the student body and to introduce students to the world of broadcast journalism. The News Director is responsible for news team participant selection and scheduling. The News Department also serves as the Community Affairs arm of WHBC. They are responsible for scheduling community service events for the station throughout the year.
Productions
Production is responsible for the imaging of the station, including, producing commercials, sales liners, and station drops.
